Retention, appeals, and exports
Report evidence
The default report-evidence retention period is 180 days. Workspace owners can configure 30 to 730 days. Cleanup deletes reports older than the configured period unless an attached Child Safety Concern remains open.
Restrictions
Restrictions are independent records. They are not deleted when supporting report evidence reaches its retention date. This prevents an evidence-cleanup job from silently reversing a moderation decision.
An indefinite restriction should still be reviewed. Studios need a way to locate the restriction by game and scoped ID, assess an appeal, update the reason/expiry, or revoke it.
Exports
- Restriction CSV: game ID, scoped ID, action, reason, case ID, creation, expiry, and revocation dates.
- Workspace JSON: workspace settings, games, members, reports, restrictions, and audit records available to the owner.
When evidence is subscription-locked, text and context are omitted from dashboard and workspace exports. Restriction records remain available.
Exports contain moderation data. Store them securely, limit access, and delete obsolete copies.
